Sun Salutations with Sanskrit Count - 15 mins
Follow the traditional sanskrit count as you flow through the Sun salutations.
Backbends - 30 mins
Bringing in some back bends from the second series of Ashtanga Yoga, which will help with accessing the wheel pose in the primary series. Great for strengthening the lower back.
Jump Backs and Core - 30 mins
Learn how to jump back in your practice. This is optional of course and the reason we do it is to ignite fire and heat in the body to aid detoxification.
Stress Relief Yin - 1 hr
A yin class that helps to relieve stress in the body, helping to release tension around the shoulders and back, relaxing the abdomen and stimulates rest and digest.
Uddiyana Bandha - 30 mins
Learn how to engage Uddiyana Bandha, the lower abdomen lock while practicing. This helps to protect the lower back and sends energy upwards. It will also be the key for balancing poses such as the crow pose.
Breathwork (Nadi Shodhana) - 7 mins
Nadi Shodhana or alternative nostril breathing helps to balance the body and mind. It will lead you into a more relaxed state, slowing down the heart rate and relieving stress.
Strength and Stamina - 30 mins
Build heat while targeting the core muscles as you move.
Yin for Tight Shoulders - 45 mins
The perfect class if you have tight shoulders, relaxing into these poses will help to relieve stress and tension.
Fundamentals for Beginners - 30 mins
Learn the basic fundamental flow of Ashtanga Yoga. This particular sequence can be repeated daily and is a complete practice in itself.
